Everlasting Joy
Isaiah 35:10
“And those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.”
It is difficult to imagine a world with endless joy. We might be more able to imagine a world with endless sorrow. For some, that is a reality in this life. But there is coming a day where sorrow will be felt for the last time. No crying. No pain. No worry. No ache in our hearts at 2am. No longing for a change that never seems to come. Every need will be fulfilled and every longing will be met. Joy will overtake sorrow when we see the face of Jesus. Our story may begin in sorrow but it will end in gladness.
